BQ25120A: BQ25120A application question

Dear all Expert :

                          I have some question about bq25120A.

                          1.When system down, will Vbat power be cut off ?

                          2.If register (EN_sys_out) set low, how to wake up IC ? 

                          3.If MRRESET register set 1, will it turn LDO ?

                             how about LDO turn off condition ? priority is SW first or HW first ?

    1. Can you explain in more detail? If the adapter is present, we will use the adapter power to power system even when battery is cut off.
    2. The IC will wake up automatically when the adapter or battery is connected. The EN_SYS_OUT is for testing purpose only.
    3. LDO is controlled through register 0x07

    Can you explain what you mean by priority?

    1. If there is no adapter present, system will be cut off, how about battery side power ?
    2. ok I understood it.
    3. if MR reset register is 1, will it turn off LDO ?
    4.MR function pin status ? -> if send MR rest + MR Reset time is met and VUVLO + VSLP <VIN < VOVP)

    Dustin,

    The system is an OR between battery or adapter. If either of them are present, the system can be powered. When the adapter is present, the preference is to pull power from the adapter.

    /MR will not change the status of the LDO unless you go to Ship mode by causing a long press and the MRREC bit is set to Ship Mode.

    If you press /MR when adapter is in Power Good state,  we will issues a Reset pulse if pressed for treset.
