[FAQ] TPS65916: Blank part and whether we can program OTP in our lab

Part Number: TPS65916

We want to use TPS65916 part with one of our proprietary processor and wanted to know whether the TPS65916 part is available without pre-programmed OTP? Our required start-up voltages are different than the programmed voltages as per User guide. Can we program the device OTP using a programmer at our lab?

  • Naveen,
I have forwarded your question to a product specialist for this part.

  • Naveen,

Unfortunately, these devices are not able to be programmed outside the TI factory. For high volumes, custom OTPs can be generated (you would need to reach out to your TI representative in this case).

The TPS65218D0 and TPS650861 both offer a customer programmable option if either of those devices meet your processor requirements.

    Thanks,
    Nastasha
