UA723: power supply is not stable.

Part Number: UA723

I have a power supply with 3 UA723 chips in it. I would like to rule out the chips as the problem. How does one go about checking if the chips are "doing there thin"g properly.

The power supply is jumping between 3v and 5v, it is supposed to be 5v.

Thank you for all the help

  • Hi Dominik,

So that we can help debug, can you provide a schematic of how you are using the UA723? We do not need your full application schematic, just the UA723 portion will be fine.

Also if you could provide a multi-rail scopeshot showing Vin, Vout, and Iout? This will help give a better sense of how the rails are interacting.

    Very Respectfully,
    Ryan
