LM5000: How to calcration for soft start time with Css

Hello E2E,

Please let me know about this topic. I could not to find calcration for soft start setting from datasheet.
I looked at the past post, but it was unresolved.

    Hi ACGUY,

    There is no formula to calculate soft start time because it depends on the Vin, Vo, Co, Io. You could test and try to get the expected soft time.

    Hi ACGUY,

    Please check the below ss circuit for the LM5000: it is determined by the internal 5k resistor and the external ss cap. but since it clamp the Vcomp voltage, so the ss time  doesn't has a linear relationship with the Vout. The Vout also relate to the output load and output cap. So it is hard to calculate. You can test it on your board, which is more directly. Then adjust it to a value you wanted.
