Hi team,

        Customers want to choose PMIC for AM3354. May I know which PMIC device is better choose?

They want to low cost one. I know TPS65216 may be cheater than other PMIC. But I worried if TPS65216 can work when AMC3354 OPP running on 1000MHz.

DO you have any suggestions?

    Hi Eggsy,

    The TPS65910 and TPS65217 are popular PMICs for the AM335x as they have driver support for the power scaling features.

    TPS65216 will support AM335x processors running at 1000MHz (voltage needs to be increased using Linux driver for PMIC) up to a load current of 1.8A
    The load current of TPS65216 higher than all other PMIC options (TPS65217, TPS650250, TPS65910) and the only feature it does not support is operation from battery power and providing VRTC for RTC-only mode in low-power applications.
