Hi,

I would like to use TPS7A7200 LDO in my board design and I have question regarding the Output voltage setting pins.

Can I connect the 50mV, 100mV, 200mV, 400mV, 800mV, 1.6V Output voltage setting pins via 0 ohm 0402 resistors to GND (some of the 0 ohm resistors would be assembled and some not, so if there will be a need to change the Output voltage I could do so by different setting of the 0 ohm resistors?

I ask the question because some 0 ohm 0402 resistors can have 50 mΩ resistance, is this value of resistance is ok and it would not effect the output voltage accuracy?

Hi Yair,

Yes you can use 0 ohm resistors on the ANYOUT pins. This is a similar approach to what we did on the EVM only we used jumpers for convenience.

Please also consider TPS7A83A for your design. This is a newer generation that does not have many of the restrictions that the older TPS7A7200 has such as the capacitor size.
