BQ27426: Coulomb counter input voltage,

Part Number: BQ27426

Hi all,

In the data sheet of the bq27426 fuel gauge IC it is stated in sectiion 6.10 a typ. voltage of +/- 25mV

In the application note SLUA792 the example is done with a current of 400mA and a shunt resisitor of 200mOhm, hence resulting an input voltage of 80mV

What is the maximum coulomb counter input voltage? 125mV

We have a application with low current 0.4mA and periodically several milli amps up to 50mA for 1-2 seconds. We using Chem ID 2208. Battery nominal 120mAh from Routejade.

We need to use scaling but I need to know first if a higher input voltage of the coulomb counter is permitted.

And the other question is, if You can help us to get the optimal fuel gauge parameter for low current and small battery cell application.

Thanks

Daniel
