UCD3138: About the behavior of UCD 3138 at low temperature.

Part Number: UCD3138

We downloaded the code of this URLwww.ti.com/tool/ucd3138fw-psfbto UCD3138.

This code is used to trial manufacture a DC - DC converter.

When starting at normal temperature (20 ), output voltage is output normally.(Figure 1_Pink Line)

However, in the -20 ° C condition, abnormality is seen in the waveform of the output voltage. (Figure 2_Green Line)

Figure1. Normal Temperature

Figure2. -20

Due to the specification of UCD 3138, there should be no problem even at -20 ° C, but it seems that the waveform at -20 ° C is controlled by software of protect.

Do you think this is a problem inside the IC, or outside the IC?

Best regards.
