BQ24133: BQ24133 loading problem

Part Number: BQ24133

Dear Sir :

Below show BQ24133 circuit and test waveform.

When VCHG (waveform : blue) have 10A loading, it will 200mS drop to 1V.

Please help to check this problem.

  • Terry,

In the schematic, the Q900 and Q901 symbols appear to have the body diode drawn incorrectly. Also, those two FETS are supposed to be connected at their sources, not drains, hence the CMSRC (common source) pin of the IC. It appears that Q900, or more likely, Q901 is turning off briefly. Can you repeat and capture ACDRV and CMRSC waveforms in addition and zoom in on the initial voltage droop? Is a battery connected? If so, I would have expected the blue waveform to clamp to a body diode voltage below the battery.
  • Terry,
