LM3697: HVLED1,2,3 parallel operation for higher current parallel LED alternate configuration

Part Number: LM3697

Originally selected LM3697 for 3 string 8-LED backlight application.  Due to a variance, our LCM may have the 3 strings tied together in parallel configuration, rather than separate strings.  Is there any potential problem with LM3697 to tie the outputs (current sinks) together in parallel fashion to support the aggregate current of the 3 parallel strings?  Might it behave strangely in this use-case?  Thank you.
