TPS63036: Input Voltage Range

Hello,

I want to use TPS63036 Buck Boost Convertor for converting 3-6 V Input range to 5 V output. I am using two 3 V coin cells in series as Vtg source.

Is it OK if 6 V input is given as input to the convertor, its range is given as 1.8 V to 5.5 V, but absolute maximum input voltage is 7 V.

Will this configuration be stable.

If not please suggest similar part.

    Hello Ameya,

    maximum operating conditions are stress ratings only, and functional operation of the device at these or any other conditions beyond those indicated under Recommended Operating Conditions is not implied. Also, exposure to absolute-maximum-rated conditions for extended periods may affect device reliability.

    Please have a look at TPS63060.
