I have to switch off the regulator with an enable signal.

Can I switch off by forcing COMP to GND? Or is there another way?

    You are correct. On page 3 of the UCC28C43-Q1 datasheet, the pin function description for COMP includes the following.

    "The error amplifier is internally current limited so the user can command zero duty cycle by externally forcing COMP to GND."
