TPS54260: internal high/low side MOSFET rising and falling time

Hi Team,

can help us provide internal turn-on and off rising/falling time for dynamic parameter? there are about TPS54260 high/low side MOSFET. because i want to calculator thermal issue.

In general we cannot give out this information.
However, the Webench tool can be used to estimate efficiency and thermal performance.

Hi sir,
i know, webench can be setimate thermal performance, but this test is verified on TI evm board and is not on the customer system board.
may i know why it's not provied?

The rise/fall times of the internal switch depend on the driver strength and the gate charge
of the FETs. This information is proprietary to TI.

Webench should be able to give a close estimate for the EVM.

The best way to determine the thermal performance is to measure the overall efficiency and calculate the total loss.
Then subtract the loss from the inductor and diode, assuming all conduction loss. The net loss is in the device and
can be used to estimate the junction temperature depending on the thermal parameters of the device and board.
