UCD9248: Other Comms fault in Fusion GUI

Hi,

I have a UCD9248 controller managing a PCIe FPGA board similar to the Xilinx ML605 one.

During some tests, after few days, the power_good signal goes off and the only fault logged are described below.

Do you know where I can find more details?

There was no USB adapter connected to the device.

When power_good signal goes low, is Vout normal?

Hi Qian,

I am sorry, I can not paste again the picture. It was a printscreen of the Fusion GUI with "Other Comms fault" logged.

I did not see when power_good signal goes low. It was during endurance tests.
When I saw the power_good signal low, my 4 power rails (2 with PTD08A020W and 2 with UCD7230 ) were stopped.

Hi Qian,

Yet, I was not able to reproduce the issue.
My problem was to find the fault which could have been detected but not explained by the UCD controller.
