Hi,

I am using TPS25982 E fuse in one of my design. My queries has follows

1) " Can i connect 2 no's of TPS25982 in parallel to get my desired current limit"?If Yes, Kindly suggest me how to do it.

2) what is the temperature de-rating current limit for TPS25982 (15A) with temperature deviation ?

Hi Rakesh,

Below are my operating conditions.
Max Iload: 14A
Operating temperature: 65DegC
Vin range: 11.2V to 14V

I am looking at a solution where if single efuse is not available then I am also looking at a solution where I can connect 2 efuse in parallel. Something similar to described in www.ti.com/.../slva836.pdf

Hi Swarup,

For your max load of 14A, single TPS25982 device would be enough. The device supports continuous current of 15A.
What is the end equipment ?

Due to high operating temperature of around 65 - 70DegC, is there any derating of this 15A continuous current limit? Will the junction temperature be within limits at mentioned operating conditions?
