TPS65917-Q1: difference between O917A134 & O917A148

Part Number: TPS65917-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRA716, DRA725,

Hi TI pals

The orderable device description of TPS65917 device marking mentions about different OTP,

O917A148TRGZRQ1 is designed with J6 SoC DRA716, and O917A134TRGZRQ1 is deigned with DRA725

in our project for HARMAN LGA module. Because these two part number both are TPS65917-Q1.

Could O917A148TRGZRQ1 substitute for O917A134TRGZRQ1?

  • Hi Ho,

Because "48" and "34" refers to OTP settings, I believe there need to be some differences between these two. I forwarded to your question to responsible applications engineer and she will answer as soon as possible, thanks

    Tuomo
  • Ho,

These two OTP configurations cannot be interchanged. The "34" OTP is single phase, with SMPS1 and SMPS2 independent. The "48" OTP ties SMPS1 and SMPS2 together for a dual phase configuration. There are also some differences in the default startup voltages and sequencing.

    Thanks,
    Nastasha
