MC33063A: Reference Application Circuit

Hi Team,

My customer is going to use MC33063A instead of NJM2360A because of EOL of NJM2360A. However, MC33603A does not have WEBENCH. So, could you suggest reference application circuit of MC33603A under the following requirements?

a) VIN: 6V to 11V
    Vout: 12V
    Iout: 2A (max)
     * External NPN switch solution

b)VIN: 6V to 11V
   Vout: 14V
   Iout: 2A (max)
     * External NPN switch solution

    Hi Koshi,
    I'm surprised to know this device can support such high current. it is very old device, and we don't have the EVM to check the reference circuit. the MC33603A seem to be p2p with NJM2360A. customer can try in their system board.
    I would suggest an easy solution TPS61178. the solution size of this device is much smaller. the cost may be lower too as smaller inductor and not external NPN.
