TPS61046: How to consider peak output load current capability

Hello,

I'd like to know how to consider peak output load current capability of TPS61046.
For example, is it enough to load 0.2A continuously at Vin=5V, Vout=10V with considering worst case variation?
I'd also like to know how TPS61046 limits the peak current, the inductor selection also affect the load capability?

What's the worst condition mean? Just load condition or considering temperature?

The minimum current limit of normal operation is about 600mA. So it seems OK with the similar device based on evm @RT.

Please noticed that there is a small current limit during the startup. So please disable the load after the Vout rise to high.

Yes, I mean part to part variation including temperature.
Let me add a question, does the 600mA current limit work on the peak current at low side SW FET?

Hi Shinya:
We have done similar bench test in our lab. Boost 5V to 12V, with 200mA load. And it's oK for T=-40C, 20C. But failed @85C.
It's better to apply an EVM and have a test with your interested temperature.
