BQ27421-G1: how to read AverageCurrent()

I highly doubt the gauge is showing average current as 0 or 20mA when in actuality the current is different. The customer is likely reading current wrong. Is the customer able to read other parameters like voltage and temperature correctly? I would recommend the customer hooks up bqstudio to the device and try communicating with it. If he is able to read correct values, then something is definitely wrong with his method of accessing the gauge.

No. the customer access to right address in right way but could not read.
Additional information is he could read AverageCurrent if he skip Extended Data (0x40 through 0x5F), but could NOT read if he execute Extended Data (0x40 through 0x5F).
Do you let us know why it happen or suspected root cause ?

As I mentioned in earlier, this phenomenon depends on Extended Data (0x40 to 0x50) setting. The customer could read AverageCurrent in case skipping Extended Data implementation but could NOT read in case executing Extend Data implementation. Can you help him why it is happened and how to resolve this.
