ATL431LI: For Li battery in 3.3V out application

Hi team,

I want to use ATL431LI to achieve a li battery in(3.7 to 4.2V) 3.3V out application, the load is BQ32000.

Does this circuit work? What is the min dropout voltage of this circuit?

Hi Jeff,

It is possible to use a ATL431LI to do this conversation. You will need to size the bias resistor based on worst case conditions.
The one issue is that this is very power hungry which is a concern in battery applications.
Is there a reason you do not want to use a low power LDO or a device like the REF3333?
