Hello,
I am looking at a TI reference design for isolated power here:
http://www.ti.com/lit/df/snvr323/snvr323.pdf
And comparing it to the datasheet for the LM5017 page 19 ( http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm5017.pdf )
Can someone explain the function of R6, C7 and C6? (in the datasheet Rr, Cr, Cac)
Are Rr and Cr amaking an impedance divider across the primary coil and Cac used to AC couple the signal at that node to the FB pin? If so, shouldn't Cac have a lower impedance at fsw than Rr and Cr?
The datasheet shows Cac having a value 100x that of Cr whereas the reference design shows Cac's value 10x less than Cr
Thanks,
