Hello. I used TPS92691EVM-001 sepic eval board, it work well in my aplication (Vin 8-30 V  Vout 20-30 V  I Out 0.8A 1000Hz PWM dimming 10-100%) can i use TPS92690 in this configuration? Because i need low power stand by mode or can i use P-channel FET on tps92691 Vin pin

    Hi Matsevich,

    You can use the TPS92690 to do what you want but for PWM dimming the LED you would need a gate driver for the PWM'ing FET since it does not have that function. 

    I would recommend the TPS92691 or TPS92692 and using a P-FET to remove power from VIN for low power mode.  TPS92692 is a newer part and has a more features than the TPS92691 and it can drive a high side PWM'ing FET.  The TPS92692 also has a VREF ouput of 5V that can supply 20mA along with spread spectrum for better EMI performance.
