Hello Hi

DO you tell me that BQ25570 solar energy harvesting source VIN_DC can use solar energy and other power supply 5V to charge? Want to use the additional power and solar energy to charge the battery through BQ25570

    Benson,

    The BQ25570 is intended to be used with a high impedance source, like solar panel, but can be used with a low impedance source, like power supply. Since it is a boost charger, the source voltage must be lower the desired output voltage, for example a 4.2V LiIon battery.

    If you have a 5V source, then I recommend using a parallel charger like BQ25100 to charge from that source.
