Hi Sir,

Would you pls advise what different between XLAT and BLANK?

(BLANK=H output=0 ; PWM initial ; grayscale reset to 0)

  • Hi Ian,
    XLAT is used for communication, as the latch signal for the device, latching common shift register data to the device. Blank is a switch to turn-on or -off the output channels.

    1. Blank 這應該是控制PWM on/off?
    2. SOUT 應該是控制多顆driver串接用吧?只有一顆driver應該可以floating?
    3. XLAT 這支腳不大了解,字面的理解好像也是控制輸出,有點類似會reset的動作,能解釋一下嗎??

    1, Blank 直接控制输出on/off
    2, Yes, you are right
    3, 这个功能可以理解为协议需要,协议要知道什么时候把common register 的数据复制下来供当前芯片使用,同时刷新芯片当前的寄存器

    再次確認一下
    GPIO programing 為Mute的功能後,
    該GPIO腳是input還是output呢?
    從表格來看並沒有說mute是input or output,
    但接線示意圖上面定義
    我會解讀成open drain外部電壓給一個H準位,
    當我某些條件下要做mute時,
    由MCU控制該腳位拉L(對AMP來說為input)
    這樣正確嗎?

    Hi Lan,

    For SDO, it should be push-pull, in high resistance state.

    For the other logic pins, it should be the input states.

    1.XLAT是否需要給一個default準位?

    2.TLC5947 input 3.3V 但LED給5V這樣會有問題嗎?
