UCC21520-Q1: Isolation Test

Hello Team, we have following question regarding isolation test:

'forward dielectric and reverse dielectric strength'

Tests will be done with 3kV, hold-time 3s, ramp 600V/s and a reverse time of 30s.

How often can this test be applied before our part starts derating of lifetime´?

    Hi Josef,

    Is this test at DC? Our TDDB line shows a 1PPM Time to Fail of ~5*10^8 seconds at 3kVrms.

    Here's an excellent paper reviewing how we test our parts and how the isolation barrier performs over its lifetime.
