Hi team,

This is Jessica. glad to work with you.

i have a question about our TPS62065-Q1 design. As the datasheet described, the output L need to be 0.7uH to 1.6uH.

#1 if it possible for customer to use 2.2uH for their design(Vin=3.3V; Vout=1.8V; Iout=0.8A)?

#2 If it is because a larger L will cause the phase margin too low or for any other reasons for that we limited the L range?

    Hi Jessica,

    I would recommend to use parameter suggested in datasheet because it is tested. The device would be stable with 2.2uH inductor but output cap and for different LC value feed forward cap should be calculated accordingly. The app note will give detail information about external component selection for stability and feed forward. www.ti.com/.../slva441.pdf ,
