I am learning how to use BQ27Z561, I have a BQ27Z561 EVM development board, but I accidentally changed it and it was broken, now it is confirmed that IC MSP430F5529 is broken, because the price of BQ27Z561 EVM is relatively expensive, I want to try to repair it.

I have replaced the broken MSP430F5529, but I don't know how to upgrade the firmware. Can someone help me?

I have only updated a device that had an existing firmware version, but i haven't updated a blank msp430 before so i am not certain of it working. However the link below contains the updater:

you were asking how to program the firmware and what i provided was the firmware to program.

If the MSP430 is blank, it should be in the bootloader mode, so you should be able to plug it in and run the updater with the -s option. Like

EV2400FirmwareUpdater.exe -s

If it is not detected, there’s a small two-pin jumper you need to short while the EV2400 is reset (there’s another jumper to reset it, or just do it while being powered-on) that forces it into the bootloader mode.
