BQ77915: BQ77195 OC delay time

Dear Sir,

I would promote BQ77915 to replace RICOH_R5436T, but customer said about OC delay time would have 5sec,

R5436T can adjust by external cap(CT1, CT2). BQ77915 delay time 1.42Sec(max).

BQ77915 have any method to programmable OC delay time to 5Sec? or have another device can be suggestion.

Hi Steven,

Unfortunately, there is no way to change the over-current delay to 5 seconds. I do not know if another device in our portfolio that has a longer delay time. Many battery gauges have software configurable protection where the delays can be programmed much longer, but the protectors do not have this option.
