Hi team,

My customer wants to use this device like below,

VIN=3.3V, V5IN=5V, VDDQ=1.5V, VTT=0.75V, IVTT=3A. Can our device support this application? Also how to calculate the power (current) consumption of V5IN? Thanks.

Add one more thing here, Customer use TPS61040 to boost the VIN to V5IN. So I think this topology will work, right?

Hi Charles,

What's the maximum VTT DC current in customer's application?
The V5IN current is only a few tens mA. TPS61040 should be powerful enough.

The max current VTT is 3A. Can TPS651116 support this case?

Hi Charles,

If the max VTT current is 3A, I would suggest to use switching converter TPS53317A for VTT rail.
The TPS51116 VTT regulation may not be good at 3A load.

Hi Charles,

TPS51116 VTT rail should be able to support 2A.
I don't see other problem.
