Part Number: CSD18532Q5B

Hi

CSD18532Q5B is used in my customer, they have old version datasheet (SLPS322 –NOVEMBER 2012)

in old version datasheet.

but recently, they download new datasheet from TI website, the new version (SLPS322D –NOVEMBER 2012–REVISED FEBRUARY 2018)

customer want to know why they are different?

thanks.

  • Hi Max,
The SOA curve was updated to reflect test-to-failure data. The original curve was calculated. The max pulsed current is a calculated parameter and the way it is calculated has been updated. Please visit here for more details: e2e.ti.com/.../MOSFET+Blog+Series. There are blogs on SOA and Pulsed Current Ratings available for you and your customer to review. I am going to close this thread. Please email me directly if you have additional questions.
