Part Number: TPS61046

Hello

I find many boost IC datasheet that have equations about how to calculate Ipeak, but just for CCM, such as equation2 - equation4 in datasheet . but no find how to calculate it when in DCM,and I think limited by inductor sizes and lower output current demands ,in application the boost IC normally worked in DCM

  • Hi Fandy:
Please share the details Vin range, Vout target and the load condition.

And it's not recommended to use too smaller inductance. As the current during startup main larger than load some times.
