I wanted to understand the calculation of cell balancing time for EM1402 board with a fixed balancing current of 2A .

Hi Radhika,

Can you please explain what you mean by this? The CB time will not be the same based on just the CB current, it depends on several other variables including the capacity (mAh) of the cell and how unbalanced the cells are when you start balancing.

I have a pack of 3 LGHG2 cells with capacity of 3000mAh with their respective voltages as 3.525V, 3.428V and 3.622 volts. I want to calculate the cell balancing time for cell 3 to reach to the average value of voltage, which is 3.525V.

Hi Radhika,

Ok, but you will still need to do your own characterization based on your cells to do conversion from mAH to voltage, this is unrelated to the device.
