Are pin 7 & 8 on CSD19538Q2 external pads that are connected to source and drain?

Hi Joe,
Nice to hear from a fellow Cyclone! You are correct that the thermal pads on the bottom of the package, pins 7 & 8, are electrically connected to the source and drain, respectively.
