UCC27324: UCC27324DGNR: could you provide the V/I curve when UCC27324DGNR OUTB sink current?

Part Number: UCC27324

Hi

customer's request:

Can you help to provide a V/I curve when UCC27324DGNR OUTB sink current? We want to know OUTB internal resistance features VS voltage.

  • Hi Max,

Welcome back!! This is Mamadou from the High Power Drivers team, I will help address your question.

Can you help understand why customer is interested in the internal resistance of OUTB specifically? What specific concerns do they have with the internal output resistance of the driver, specifically CH-B? What exactly are they trying to achieve with Ch-B of the driver? I ask because this device can sink approximately 4.5A at VDD = 15V for an equivalent internal resistance Rint = 3.33-Ohms and 4.28A at VDD = 12V where Rint = 2.8-Ohms.

Additionally, the output resistance of the driver is essentially the (Rds,on) of the internal MOSFET transistor which has a maximum value of 4-Ohms while accounting for temperature variations.

    Regards,
