I HOPE SOME ONE CAN HELP TO ME

  • Hi Omid,

Thanks for your interest in UCC21520-Q1. I work on the applications team in the high power drivers group and can help you with your question.

If VDDA/VDDB are high and VCCI falls below its UVLO falling threshold, it will stop transmitting signals and both CHA and CHB outputs will turn off and stay off.

On ISO7240C, it looks like there is a CTRL pin which decides the default state of the outputs when the input side VCC1 is powered down. When you had trouble with this part, how was the CTRL pin (pin 10) configured? If it was floating or tied high, the outputs would turn on when the input side is powered down.

Our isolated drivers do not have this pin and always default to turning OUTA/OUTB off when VCCI is below UVLO threshold.

If this helped answer your question, could you please press the green button? If not, feel free to continue asking questions.

    Thanks and best regards,

    John
