TPS62262-Q1: Does the EN threshold have hysteresis?

Part Number: TPS62262-Q1

We are enabling this device by connecting the EN to an LDO output that has a turn-on time of up to 500us and a fall time that is much slower. Will we have any problems with the EN causing indeterminant ON or OFF control? Thanks.

  • Hi Mark,

The EN pin is turned on and off by detecting the voltage, it doesn't require the turn-on and turn-off time, just need to pay attention to its VIH and VIL threshold.

    Best regards,

    Kevin

  • Thanks, Kevin, but I'm concerned about jittering on/off of the device due to noise on EN while it slowly transitions through the area between Vil and Vih.

Is there hysteresis in the EN function?

    Thanks,

    Mark

  • Hi Mark,

TPS62262-Q1 have start-up time(500us) and internal soft start(250us), the short jittering will have little effect on the enable function.

    Best Regards,

    Kevin
