We are planning to apply TPS54541.
Is the over current protection function in the IC function?
Is it set to 5A standard or can it be set separately?

The second is 150 ° C TJ Operating Range. I want to know that THERMAL SHUTDOWN operates at 176 ° C.
Is it used at over 150 ° C? Does not the THERMAL SHUTDOWN operation protect the IC from operating below 150 ° C?

    The current limit for this device is fixed and can not be changed.

    The EC table in the data sheet gives the typical current limit as 7.5A, peak at the inductor.

    The actual output current under overload conditions will be somewhat smaller.

    The typical thermal shutdown temperature is given in the EC table of the data sheet; 176C with 12C of hysteresis.
