Hi,

The EVM EV2400 interface board inside MSP430 microcontroller accidental short.The MCU P/N on EV2400 is MSP430F5529IPN. This is low cost as compare to EVM EV2400, Is it possible that we buy MSP430F5529IPN and solder it in the board and then we flash it's firmware? for that a bootloader required and will it be provide by TI? please provide solution how to solve this problem.

    Hi Shalini,

    That may work. However, if the MSP is put into a specific JTAG state prior to a first flash your solution may not work. However it may be worth a try. Unfortunately we don't provide internal flash tools for customers. So you are on your own.
