CSD87330Q3D: Input voltage range

Hello,

I'm designing a project that include CSD87330Q3D along with TPS65911A.

In the reference design, the input voltage for the CSD87330Q3D is 12V. in the typical application wrote Max. 12V Input.
I'll like to supply 5V to this pin. I'm not sure if it will work.

I'll appreciate any help and the calculations for the input voltage.

Thanks for the question. The CSD87330Q3D will work fine with +5V input. However, I am going to forward this onto the applications engineer for the TPS65911A to help you with your design.

Hi Snir,

The PMIC device TPS65911A is designed for input range from 2.7V to 5.5V, so, 5V power supply is good for the PMIC. BTW, also checked, the PowerBlock CSD87330Q3D is optimized for 5-V gate drive, so, booth devices are fine with 5V power input.
