UCC29950: Is it possible to enter dc?

Hello team,

We are designing 150w power using ucc29950.

If input is ac (90V~264V), there is no problem. If input is supplied by dc (130V~375V),

the operation is caused by ac1,ac2 pin problem. I don't think I can.

There is a way to operate ucc29950 ic with input dc.

If there is a way, how do you configure ac1,ac2,sufs pin?

Unfortunately the UCC29950 will not run off a DC input, it requires the periodic zero crossings from the AC line to reset the timers used to trigger the X-Cap discharge feature.

If your system is operating from DC only then we have many solutions at this power level - active clamp forward for example. If you post more detailed specification then I can suggest a power stage and an appropriate controller.
