TPS61096A: can the three pins(FB,EN ,VIN )connect togethe to get fixed 12 V output？Vin=5V

Hello~

Vin is 5V,and I need TPS61096A boost to 12V or 13V for PMOLED panel driving power supply.

1.To simply achieve 12V output,the three pins FB,EN,VIN are connected toghter. Is it OK or not? I don't need to control TPS61096A enable or disable.

2.If VIN=5V and VOUT=13V,can you help to calculate the value of external resistor divider R1 and R2（FB pin）？

Hi,

the device shoud be TLV61046A, not TPS61096A

connect the FB to VIN to get fixed 12V. the EN pin is to disable or enable the IC.

the selection of the R1 and R2 can be found in the datasheet page 12.

Ah sorry,it is TLV61046A.

Yeah,I know EN pin is used for disabling or enabling the IC.

My question is that whether FB,VIN and EN Pins connected together is OK or not？

If you have TLV61046AEVM in hand, would you please have a try?

Hello~

About TLV61046A,FB is connected to VIN.When EN connecting to VIN, the device output about 12V, but after EN switched to GND, output become about 1.6V but not 0V.can you tell me why?

Hi,

it is very strange behavior, the output should be zero. did you add a resistor load to the output to discharge the output capacitor?
