TPS2372: confirm dual signature class resistor selection ON TPS2372

Hi team:

Customer side set TPS2372 PD in dual signature, how is the classification table will be? Is it same as single signature's?


 
Attachment is the latest schematic, could you kindly help review it, please?(Both TI TPS2372 and NXP KL02)

    Hello Richard,

    The classification process will be different, but the I_class current range will be the same. Therefore, for a dual signature structure II PD, the classification resistor selection will be the same. IEEE802.3bt has a connection check feature that should check if there is a dual signature or single signature. 

    I will review your schematic and post my findings.
