I am using the LM431, works well at 14V, I get a 1 volt difference between Vin and Vo with Iz less than 5 mA, everything is ok
BUT, at 28V, impossible to goi down 50 mA for Iz ( I am still in the spec ) but the LM431 heats as hell, so I have to cool it somehow even if it is a TO92 package
It that normal to heats as hell even at 50 mA ? Vin = 28v, Vo = 27V.
It is for a voltage supervising, I need to toggle a system if my voltage goes down by 1V. After it, I go to a LM324
