TPS2491: Condition of Ts(MAX)

My customer is considering TPS2491 and has a question.

I would be grateful if you could advise.

According to the equation(3) of datasheet P.12, PLIM is determined by Tjmax, Tsmax and ILIM.

At this time, how should Tsmax be calculated?

Should I use equation(9) in datasheet P.21?

I couldn't determine whether equation(3) of Tsmax is equation(9) of Tcmax.

Could you please let me know?

Thanks for reaching out!

TS(MAX) and TC,MAX are same. Please use equation (9) to calculate it and use the calculated value in equation (3). I suggest to make use of design calculator to arrive at the final values. It is available at http://www.ti.com/product/TPS2491/toolssoftware

I understand TS(MAX) and TC(MAX) are the same.

I know the caluclator in the Product Folder.

In this case, the customer is considering using the datasheet and asked.

I also introduced the excel tool.
