TPS54531: TPS54531 damaged IC behind it...

Dear Sir,

As customer feedback, TPS54531 damaged the PD controller that behind it.

About the PD controller FA report, all VDD pins damaged by EOS.

However, TPS54531 is working well without damaged.

Attached is the schematics, please help to review and give comments for any design problem.

    Hi,

    The output capacitance is litter small, the output ripple would be large and the loop maybe unstable. Please measure the bode plot and load transient to check the stability. 

    And what is the max load current? The saturation current of L is 4.5A, please make sure the max inductor current is lower than 4.5A.

    What is the min voltage which leads to the damage of VDD pin?

    Is there any abnormal phenomenon for the output voltage of TPS54531? Because you think this will damage the VDD pin.
