TPS61099: Asking for the recommendation on TPS61099 design

Part Number: TPS61099

Hi Team,

Customer is designing TPS61099.

Vin voltage level operation range between 3.35V to 4.45V, and Enable votlage level range will between 3.7V~4.45V.

This represent Vin=3.35V~3.7V&Enable pin =3.7V~4.45V condition is exits at customer’s operation use case.

If TPS61099 enable pin voltage level is higher than its Vin,this situation for IC operation reliability is no concern?

If yes, do you have recommended design suggestion for customer?

SHH

  • Hi SHH:

Sorry, that I'm in business travel. Please allow me give an quick answer firstly.

"If TPS61099 enable pin voltage level is higher than its Vin,this situation for IC operation reliability is no concern?"

As the VIn>1.5V, the threshold for the EN pin is no close connection to the VIN. Generally, higher than 1.2V meas "high", lower than 0.4V means "low". The maximum voltage of EN should below 6V. You could check the spec in datasheet for details.

  • Hi SHH:

Since we contacted with email, I'll close this post firstly. Thanks for your understanding.
