UCD9244-EP: Future availability of UCD9244-EP

Hi,

I need to power the variable core supply CVDD of TMS320C6678 multi-core processor. As a smart-reflex solution, I want to opt for smart reflex controller UCD9244-EP.

TI website is now not recommending UCD9244 for future designs, but says nothing about UCD9244-EP.

1) Is UCD9244-EP also getting obsolete in the near future?

2) Is it safe to use UCD9244-EP for upcoming designs?

3) If it is not safe, what is the recommended alternate part?
