Hi Ti Team,

I am confused about the temperature measurement circuit on the user guide of 'UCC217XX Family Driving and Protecting SiC and IGBT Power Modules and Transistors'.

I am designing a gate driver for 3rd gen Cree SiC Module CAB450M12XM3 which has NTC embedded. How the circuit in Fig2, Block 4, TR+ can measure the NTC embedded in the module and feed into the AIN pin?

    Hi Weichi,

    There seems to be a small issue with the block where it overlaps the circuit. Please do not focus on the block outline, but rather the connections guide as stated in Section 3.1. You will connect the NTC pins from your power module to pins TR+ and COM (which is referred to as TR- in the User's Guide) on the EVM. This is the connection to AIN. Also refer to the UCC21732-Q1 datasheet for more details on AIN-to-APWM channel operation, specifications, and connection guide.
