I'd like to design DC-DC converter circuit to supply 5VDC to Raspberry Pi 4 board and 7" touch screen LCD module. Here are my requirements:

input: 24VDC
output: 5.0VDC / max 3A (normally 1~2A)

Efficiency: more than 90%
PCB footprint : less than 1000 [mm]^2
Vout_ripple : less than 10 mV preferred
Highest temperature of the chip or component : less than 60'C

Thanks to WEBENCH Power Designer, I chose two solutions, one with LMS3635, and the other with LM5141.

I am more concerned about the heat and Vout_ripple than the cost or PCB footprint. So I prefer controller type (external switch) to converter (integrated switch) type, but last time I designed other board with LM25141, it didn't work well: The Vout_ripple was much higher than advertised, and it was very hard to get the recommended Power MOSFET switches.

So this time, I'd like to try LMS3635 (integrated type). According to the simulation results, it seems to work for me, but I'd like to double check with TI experts.

Could any of you review these solutions and recommend the better design for me, please? A new solution is welcome, too.
