UA723: NC Pins

Part Number: UA723

Hi Team,

I just need to confirm. Are there any internal connections with the NC pins of the UA723? Or this pins should only be left floating or connected to ground?

Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards,

Jejomar

  • Hi Jejomar,

Unfortunately, the datasheet is not clear on this. Sometimes NC pins are meant to be DNC (Do not connect) as they might be part of the final test solution. Getting a clear understanding of whether these pins can be grounded will take some time as this device is quite old. My recommendation is to leave the NC pins floating.

Just curious, do you need the adjustable output current limiting feature?

I hope this answers your question.

    Regards,

  • Hello John,

Thanks you so much for your valuable response. Actually it was just a minor accident on our customer's design. We would just like to confirm its operational behavior after accidentally involving the NC pins with the design.

Thank you so much for clarifying our doubts.

    Kind Regards,

    Jejomar
